Authenticator code Use a fresh code

Use a fresh six-digit code from your authenticator. A code is required on a new browser.

This browser remembers a previously verified account. Its password is still required. Open “Authenticator code” to use a code or sign in to another account.

On a remembered owner browser: 8-hour idle, weekly authenticator check, password at least daily. Sensitive actions need a fresh code.

How session timing works

Use your own account. Your password is required for each new session, at least every 24 hours. A remembered browser needs an authenticator check after 7 days; sensitive account changes always require a fresh code. On a remembered private browser, the owner can pause for up to 8 hours. Other owner sessions lock after 15 minutes; employee sessions after 1 hour. Working in the visible page renews the idle timer, within the 24-hour session limit.
